i always wanted to be a tenenbaum
you, know?
i am a twenty-three year old darling girl.
i am not married, i have no children, and i didn't graduate from college. but..
i draw birds and robots; i read books; i laugh till i cry; i love until my heart bursts; i sometimes paint my face or arms with stripes if i'm bored; i create; i play guitar.
i am not impressive, but i am me.
i am addicted to Jesus Christ. He never stops loving, never stops giving, and there is always more of Him. He is the perfect addiction. no one else can satisfy.
These are all just mostly vague details. If you want me, come find me. But, I promise, at the very least, you'll think I'm nice.

so i was at home for the weekend..or rather until saturday night when i was supposed to leave. paige dyed and cut my hair [dani says its "mahogany" now...whatever that means] and then i was supposed to leave at 10 since i had a meeting at 9 sunday morning. well i really wanted to hang out more,so i stayed overnight at my house, and got some sleep. i was supposed to be up at 6, take a quick shower and jazz, and leave by 6:30 to make it to des moines by 9. well my alarm didn't go off. so my dad walks in at 6:48 and is like "don't you have to leave?" and i'm like "shoot! yeah!" so i quickly scramble around and put things together and leave. i'm going about 95-98mph [a lil over my usual of 85] and i'm trying to fly...i see a few cops but no problems.
heres my advice on not getting caught speeding [in iowa at least][and daytime]
Know your colors - sheriffs are white, state troopers are gold, and navy. sometimes white. but RARE. very very RARE.
know your cars - not makes and models..just be able to recognize cop cars. they have rounded hoods and never have quad lights. they also never drive with their lights on as it attracts too much attention.
don't be stupid - never pass someone [speeding] on a hill, or on a corner where you can't see upcoming traffic. its too easy to them to clock you and too hard for you to slow down fast enough.
if you feel like being stupid - like me today and you just can't risk slowing down for a bit then take your normal speed that you wish to go, and back it down 5 mph when you do the hills and corners. so if i went 85, on hills and corners i'd go 80. follow me?
if you get caught - or you think you get caught, slow your ass down stupid! [never brake at night. just take your foot of the gas. the brake lights are a quick indication that your guilty] if you think he's going to find you slow down to 72. not 65 its too obvious. but then go 10 miles at this speed. if they don't pass you or catch you by then, increase 2 mph every 5 miles. just for safetys sake
that should keep you good for awhile. and that's all i know. i think..
anyway, so i make it to the meeting 10 mins late. earlier as i was pulling off the highway onto merle hay rd. i see this poor lil homeless dude that had a sign that read "homeless. hungry. God Bless." and im like aww. and my heart broke as it usual does. then and there i decided i would buy him food after the meeting. so after i drive past to see if he's still there and he is. so then i get gas, and head to mc donalds and go to get him food. some sausage egg mcmuffin meal or something..anyway so i go back to that intersection get on the highway going the other way [because he was sitting at the end of an exit ramp to a stoplight, hard to get to him] and then i turn around and get off on the exit. well he moved and is crossing the street and im' like whaaa..nooo!! i'm going to give you food!! lol so i look up under the overpass and him and a lil buddy are sitting in a hole trying to keep warm since it was damn cold today. so i'm like "shoot..i didn't know there'd be 2 of them" so i go to another mcdonalds..[i'd feel stupid hitting up the same one twice in 10 minutes] and i get another meal. i drive past them on the other side of the road and turn around to get on the right side. by this point i'm sooooo nervous..not sure why..and i'm shaking like a dog shitting razorblades [thank you alkaline trio, i believe] anyway, so i pull over under the overpass and get out of my car. even before i was out he got out of his hole and headed down towards me so i say "i have some food if you'd like it..." and he goes "oh thank you, thank you" and i say "here you go, God bless you" and he's like "God bless you too" and his lil friend in the hole is like "God bless you ma'am" and they sounded really sick..they weren't really old though..mid 40s maybe?
so i get back in my car and head back to the church and i'm just like, i'm gonna pray for them so i'm praying for them and as i pray i'm like totally crying. i felt soooo bad. i mean, some people could be cheating the system and just out for the con and stuff, but like i'm not willing to take that risk of someone truly being hungry and poor. and if i bought some cheater a free meal, oh well, i don't mind. so i'm crying and i get to the church and i'm a mess. i'm still emotional about it...he and the guy..the hole..and then...*sigh* gah i could cry again.
so i go to church, and afterwards i'm walking thru the lobby and i see this girl that was best friends with my sister when we lived in Cedar Rapids..she went to my church and stuff..and just grew up with me. i wasn't sure if it was her though because shes like 27 now and i haven't seen her since i was in the 3rd grade. lol. but then i see her mom and i'm totally sold that its her so i walk up behind her and i'm like "Sarah?" and she looks at me all confused and i'm like "do you remember me? I'm Jeska A*****n." and she's like "OMG! i didn't even recognize you! you're all grown up..!! i totally didn't know that was you!!!" and her mom flips out and i'm like "Well the last tim you guys saw me...i was in the 3rd grade. lol i'm 18 and i've uh..grown pu a bit.." and so heres the 6 degrees of separation on how to get from ME to ME again.
Me --> My sister (who was best friends with) -->Sarah (who's married to) --> Dan (who's good friends with) --->Adam and his wife gretchen (Adam directs synergy) --> ME! (i go to school @ synergy) isn't that crazy?! it blew my mind..
then after that megan, john and i all go to El Rodeo. it was good. so we leave and i go home and i take a nap. well i wake up and go to church. i'm chewing my gum and all of a sudden my mouth really really hurts. so i start feeling around with my tongue and back where my upper right wisdom tooth was [i got them out in august] there is this painful cut piece of skin thats all flappy. i'm assuming a chip sliced it open or something. bastard. anyway so that really really hurt.
then i was going to go to jesses to watch the old school willy wonka but i went to jasons house instead for a leaders party, then i hung out with megan and now i'm here.
because i wanted to upload new photos. you better comment them biotch! lol
so i'm really really tired but i'm in a good mood.
and i think i've found a decent college to go to. marie is looking into going there too since she visited the campus yesterday. im excited.
