i always wanted to be a tenenbaum
you, know?
i am a twenty-three year old darling girl.
i am not married, i have no children, and i didn't graduate from college. but..
i draw birds and robots; i read books; i laugh till i cry; i love until my heart bursts; i sometimes paint my face or arms with stripes if i'm bored; i create; i play guitar.
i am not impressive, but i am me.
i am addicted to Jesus Christ. He never stops loving, never stops giving, and there is always more of Him. He is the perfect addiction. no one else can satisfy.
These are all just mostly vague details. If you want me, come find me. But, I promise, at the very least, you'll think I'm nice.

so. update since last.
grandfather did die.
the funeral was great actually.
my family isn't super close, i mean, my extended that is. and we got to bond so much with a few of our cousins it was great.
we dropped my one cousin Nick off at the omaha airport thursday, cause he lives in Alaska on a AFB. (air force base.) friday morning. say.. 2:15a.m. we're all up, cause duh. we are. and by we I mean my sister, her husband bret cause he was packing for his trip to texas, me, and our friend josh. phone rings. we find out that my uncle, nicks father, my mothers brother in law, committed suicide. call the cops, let them know, and shot himself. nick got on a plane on friday afternoon to come back.
isn't that a crazy turn around.
the funeral was today.
it was weird.
my grandmother took it hard because you know like, she was thinking about how nice the funeral was.. and how she was going to go home and tell grandfather... oh.. but.. wait.. and then she'd start to cry. i've never seen her cry ever. its very sad.
and i know for the few of you that are praying, God is doing stuff. but please continue to pray for my aunt who lost her father, then the next week lost her husband. i'm at their house right now chillin with the fam.
i'll be back..sometime.. i'm not sure. before my work shift saturday whenever i get taken back.
we did have fun in the hot tub though. it was 31* F outside of the hot tub, and 102*F in the hot tub. my hair was frosting over literally. lol it was silly fun though.
here's some good news.
so when bret, dani, josh and i got the call, he mentioned how he is always over at awkward times, like now, or when he was last over and shannons dog died, and etc. so he decided to keep it awkward and ask me to dinner.
this is really stupid to say. this next part. cause i've been thru 2 boyfriends, silly little relationships, but i've never been on an official ''would you like to go to dinner tomorrow night'' type date. it was weird. i was so nervous. the next night we went to SF, SD and went to Granite City. it was way good. I felt kinda underdressed cause it was like.. 8pm and I wasn't wearing like.. restaurant clothes.. lol you know? I just had on my normal jeans, green chucks, and my awesome new very cute diet pepsi shirt lol. i couldn't judge what to wear from josh's standards.. he always looks good. he's one of those metro types lol.
but we kept talking throughout and i made it thru nicely.
we then finished up, drove the way back to his house and watched Mallrats and Pulp Fiction. cuddling ensued. it was supergreat. I fell asleep in the last bit of pulp fiction though lol. it was like 4 a.m. when I got home, i was so tired.
but it was..actually nice.. and ..
and i think i kinda like him lol.
i'm working it out in my head and heart to make sure i like him, and not the idea of someone who is interested in me. make sense?
but it was great. and i think i made it thru well. lol.
and todd knows his brother.
how weird.
todd you know everyone.
so i'm just chillin up here and i'm bored.
my head is still wet from the hot tub and i'm a little tired.
my face burns from all the chlorine and my skin is icky dry.
and i taste like ruffles. erg. they don't taste pretty.
i miss paige.
i want to be home for her, but i missed my ride so i could stay with the kids and the fam a little longer here.
i'm sorry babydoll. i'll see you soon right? i mean, you'll still be back on saturday right?
happy birthday. i love you. :)
i have a silly idea, i hope you like it.
