i always wanted to be a tenenbaum
you, know?
i am a twenty-three year old darling girl.
i am not married, i have no children, and i didn't graduate from college. but..
i draw birds and robots; i read books; i laugh till i cry; i love until my heart bursts; i sometimes paint my face or arms with stripes if i'm bored; i create; i play guitar.
i am not impressive, but i am me.
i am addicted to Jesus Christ. He never stops loving, never stops giving, and there is always more of Him. He is the perfect addiction. no one else can satisfy.
These are all just mostly vague details. If you want me, come find me. But, I promise, at the very least, you'll think I'm nice.

woot. i'm two and twenty. officially.
the party went really well and we had nine people total!
nine.. i think.. let me count:
lisagrace, paige, lauren and kristin, alex, jeremiah, danielle, noel, my brother, and then zach showed up eventually. ten! eleven counting me!
success! that's awesome. my most successful party ever.
danielle made super-cute-almost-inedible-because-they're-so-adorable panda cupcakes! they were AMAZING! i jokingly asked her to make them for me from a homes & gardens magazine and she totally did! i was so surprised and excited. plus, i now get to say "i ate a panda for breakfast/lunch/dinner/second elevensies..etc." so that was fun.
and the food turned out pretty okay... i have LOTS of left over salsa dip and pizza rolls, and the sangria punch was a huge hit. never made the stupid mojitos because i have NO mix drinking skills. and i just didn't worry about the run and the sangria was too good. then no board games happened which was fine, i liked talking and listening to noel and jeremiah play the guitar.
jeremiah wanted me to sing and so did a lot of other people.. but i'm just not that comfortable yet. right now, i'm only comfortable with like jeremiah, layla and alex (the "band"). otherwise, i can't just... sing.. in front of people yet.
just jeremiah came over tonight and he played while i sang lots of songs. i think we're getting better. i wish he was a stronger singer because then we'd be able to just be our own band. call us "sea arrows" or something. i don't know. either way, we're pretty good. in all reality, if i can get matched up singing with someone i do a lot better than by myself. so give me a male that can play guitar and help with vocals and bam. we're a band.
but anyway, after the jamming last night, we got alex's hookah out and that was pretty okay. i think i'm the only person that doesn't like the hookah. i mean, it's alright, my lungs just don't like .. not air. i'm still more partial to pipes, so i can just smoke and not inhale it. but anyway, then after hookah it was to perkins for a milkshake and then we all crashed.
today was interesting enough, too. dani and i met up with alex, noel, zach and some people we didn't know and after it being awkward that no one was talking to us, we climbed a tree and i carved dani + jeska into a tree. it made me laugh. (woot! natalie portman on saturday night live. it's a good night for jeska!) and then...let's see, oh yes, learning the lesson that the ames' dairy queen has awful real food, dani and i had fun watching alex play grand theft auto four and then had team sleep.
woot! i love team sleep! it's like my favorite!
then i hung out with my brother for a while, hit up the mall, hit up pearle vision, ordered new glasses, went to fuji for some sushi, and then came back and proceeded to jam with jeremiah.
so that's been my day.
it's definitely been an interesting day as far as thoughts go...i'm a bit dilemma'd but perhaps that will have to be written about at another time. it's getting late, and i'm not sure what's all in my head right now. it's just... meh. paths have crossed and become entangled and i want to make sure that everyone makes it out okay.. and maybe better than they were in the first place. we'll see.
but, off to bed. church tomorrow at nine, then hanging out with dani. and saturday night live isn't very funny when you've seen it like nine times. (nine times?! nine times.)
love, Jeska.
