i always wanted to be a tenenbaum
you, know?
i am a twenty-three year old darling girl.
i am not married, i have no children, and i didn't graduate from college. but..
i draw birds and robots; i read books; i laugh till i cry; i love until my heart bursts; i sometimes paint my face or arms with stripes if i'm bored; i create; i play guitar.
i am not impressive, but i am me.
i am addicted to Jesus Christ. He never stops loving, never stops giving, and there is always more of Him. He is the perfect addiction. no one else can satisfy.
These are all just mostly vague details. If you want me, come find me. But, I promise, at the very least, you'll think I'm nice.

so sunday, i started to not feel very well. i chalked it up to hearing about a tornado in ames, and just being all nervous and such and having all the extra acid from anxiety just filling my tummy. it happens frequently enough, so i didn't think much of it.
then i got sick multiple times that night, the next day before work and at work (didn't tell anyone about that...), and then some that night. this morning i was okay, and kept more food in me so, i thought i was fine. then after work i went back to apt. 310 to do some laundry since i still had free w/d over there. while i'm there, i just started to feel awful, like really awful. i eventually just left. left my laundry in my old apartment and figured i'd come back later. i get in the car and feel like i'm just going to be sick everywhere, so i'm trying to watch my breathing (i just noticed i switched tenses. sorry.) and i'm trying to distract myself so i call mom to have to talk to me. she starts talking and praying for me with my dad and i just get a full blow panic attack, i start sobbing in the car, hyperventilating... all this in addition to feeling like i'm going to just throw up everywhere. the stomach cramps start coming back and they're fierce as ever. my left arm goes numb, my face goes numb, and my right hand goes numb. (not sure why...) so that just starts making things worse. mom tries to calm me down and she does okay. i walk into my apartment and get really woozy, then make it up the stairs to the bathroom, start hyperventilating again and tell my mom barely that i'm about to pass out. i give her alex's number and i just sit on the floor a complete disaster. luckily, nothing happened. i had a few more spells, but recovered. i haven't felt that awful in a long, long time.
now, i'm just sitting with more apocalyptic stomach cramps and hoping to fall asleep. i'll probably put my ipod into my stereo and try to drift off to futurama or scrubs. but i need new episodes, i've seen all of them FAR too many times.
i'm wondering when is the time to go to the doctor and when is the time to just deal with it. i think that's my issue lately...
before i was one extreme: going to the doctor far too frequently when i just needed to suck it up. now i'm at the opposite: being in agony for weeks with a cold or sinus infection (or flu in this case) and not making sure it's something i need to go to the doctor for. i mean, doctors are expensive, man. there's no way, even with my insurance, i could just waltz into the ER and come away without monetary damage. but i can't seem to ever get an appointment at mcfarland, try as i might, without someone telling me they don't do in advance appts and only do day of. how can i schedule that for work if it's day of? i apparently don't understand.
oh, and in other news, i'm actually bummed about a small sort of thing. that thing i said i'd write about once it all cleared in my head. well, turns out, someone already had dibs (which, i might add is seriously unfair) and that dibs just overrules me entirely. which is ridiculous. i mean, i understand, and really, i do, it's just when dibs weren't clarified, you can't just call dibs later. like you can't call shotgun after someone's already attempting to sit down. and i'm just thinking that i don't cut it anyway.
mreh. these stomach cramps will be the death of me.
